Cedevita Olimpija will host Budućnost VOLI this Sunday evening in this week’s NLB Match of the Round.
Cedevita Olimpija’s 9-game winning streak in AdmiralBet ABA League has come to an end in the previous round when they suffered road defeat against Crvena zvezda Meridianbet in one of the best games of the season. Yet, the Dragons are still positioned very well on the 2022/23 standings as they have the overall score of 12-3 and they are still in the race for the top spot in the regular season.
On the other side, Budućnost VOLI grabbed a very important road win against MZT Skopje Aerodrom last weekend to get back on the winning track after suffering two consecutive defeats. The Podgorica side currently have the score of 10-6, which is not something the blue-and-white team hoped for, but it seems that this team needs just couple of good results to regain confidence and start moving up on the standings.
It is important to mention that both teams suffered defeats in 7Days EuroCup over the last week, so they will now both try to bounce back in the regional competition.
