Split get the win against Zadar in the Dalmatian derby

Game recap: Split managed to win in the Dalmatian derby against Zadar to open up round 18 of the AdmiralBet ABA League. This win helps Split with their playoff hunt as they improve to a 7-11 record while Zadar stays in playoff position sitting at a 9-9 season record. 

Zadar was the better squad in the first half, on the backs of Luka Božić and Dario Drežnjak, who were fantastic in the first half, the visitors held a 15-point lead heading into the half. Split must've had a good halftime locker room talk because they looked much better than the first half. The crowd was Split's sixth man in critical moments, the soldout Split sports hall gave Split the support they needed when it was most necessary. 

Key moments: In the final minutes of the fourth quarter, following a 7:2 by the host's Lewis Sullivan hit a crucial three-pointer to give his squad a 5-point lead which would prove to be big enough to complete the comeback and secure the win. 

Man of the match: Split got their win on the backs of Sullivan, Shorter, Mavra, Runjić, and Nelson who were fantastic for Srđan Subotić's team but the Man of the match for Split was Lewis Sullivan who finished tonight's game with a double-double scoring 16 points and grabbing 10 rebounds for a 19 valuation rating. 

Can't hide the stats: Split dominated the boards tonight, especially the offensive rebounds. Jukić, Sullivan, and Shorter were causing problems for the Zadar bigs in the paint all night.
