National Cups: Cedevita Olimpija seize the 2023 Slovenian National Cup

Cedevita Olimpija have won the Slovenian National Cup for the 2nd year in a row as they defeated NLB ABA League 2 side Helios Suns in the Final by 81:70.
For 35 minutes the two teams were fighting a hard battle down on the court, while Cedevita Olimpija had just a 4-point lead at that moment – 58:54. But, then the Dragons made the key 12:3 run to escape on a double digit lead (70:57) and seal the win in this thrilling final.
Yogi Ferrell was the top scorer in the winning team with 18 points, while Zoran Dragić made 15 points for the Ljubljana team.
On the other side, Blaž Mahkovic made 22 points for Helios Suns.
