Crvena zvezda Meridianbet are the winners of the 2023 Serbian National Cup as they defeated Mega MIS in the Final by 96:79.
The reigning AdmiralBet ABA League champions lost the opening quarter by 22:23, but then they increased the pace and quickly took over the control over the match. Zvezda were up by 51:44 at the halftime, while the gap got even bigger by the end of the 3rd quarter as boys in red-and-white jerseys increased their lead to 78:65.
In the final quarter, Crvena zvezda Meridianbet kept pushing forward until they finally sealed the win in this match.
Crvena zvezda Meridianbet have therefore won this competition for the 3rd year in a row, while this was their 12th national cup trophy in club’s history.
