EuroBasket Pre-Qualifiers: North Macedonia advance to the next stage
North Macedonia defeated Norway on the road in the final match of the Second Round of the 2025 FIBA EuroBasket Pre-Qualifiers and therefore sealed their place in the Qualifiers phase. Meanwhile, Croatia will have to play in the Third Round of the Pre-Qualifiers.

North Macedonia defeated Norway on the road in the final match of the Second Round of the 2025 FIBA EuroBasket Pre-Qualifiers and therefore sealed their place in the Qualifiers phase. Meanwhile, Croatia will have to play in the Third Round of the Pre-Qualifiers.
North Macedonia needed to score a win against Norway on the road to secure the top spot in Group D and they did it in a quite a powerful way. North Macedonia defeated Norway by 79:41 on the road to clinch their ticket for the 2025 FIBA EuroBasket Qualifiers.
At the same time, Croatia failed to take the top spot in Group E, despite their home court win against Austria – 84:74. Croatia needed to win against Austria and top hope that Poland would lose their match against Switzerland, but as Poland triumphed in their match, Croatia remained at the 2nd place in Group E.
Therefore, Croatia will play in the Third Round of the 2025 FIBA EuroBasket Pre-Qualifiers where they will have another chance to reach the Qualifiers stage.
