Montenegro will play at the 2023 FIBA World Cup as they seized the 3rd place in Group K!
In the decisive game, Montenegro defeated Czech Republic at home by 88:70 to secure their place among the top 3 teams in their group. The Montenegrin team have gained a 25-point lead already by halftime – 50:25, while they had no problems staying in front in the rest of the match.
Meanwhile, Bosnia and Herzegovina failed the qualify for the 2023 FIBA World Cup. The Bosnia and Herzegovina team needed to win their away game against Hungary and to hope that Montenegro would lose their match against Czech Republic… At the end, neither of these two things happened.
Montenegro scored a comfortable win against Czech Republic, while Bosnia and Herzegovina lost the away game against Hungary – 77:87.
