Zlatibor Gold Gondola have edged out Spars Ilidža in the opening game of the NLB ABA League 2 Friday’s schedule and grabbed their 9th win of the season.

Zlatibor Gold Gondola have edged out Spars Ilidža in the opening game of the NLB ABA League 2 Friday’s schedule and grabbed their 9th win of the season.
This way, the reigning NLB ABA League 2 champions keep chasing the positions near the very top of the standings, as they are now on a 9:3 record, with only Helios Suns having won more games at the moment. On the other side, Spars Ilidža are now on a 1:11 record, and they keep occupying the bottom of the standings, together with Vrijednosnice Osijek.
It has been anybody’s game for the first half. Spars Ilidža were ahead by 5 points (20:15) at the end of the first quarter, and Zlatibor Gold Gondola turned things upside-down in the second quarter, departing to the big break with a 2-point advantage (38:40). In the second half, the Zlatibor squad have dominated the court completely and emerged victorious with a convincing advantage in the end, with the final score of 72:96.
