EL: Partizan Mozzart Bet suffer home defeat against Real Madrid

In the third game of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Quarterfinal series, Partizan Mozzart Bet have suffered their first defeat of the series, at home in Štark Arena in Belgrade, by Real Madrid.

It has been a game, which could truly have gone either way all until the end and key moment arrived with 25 seconds to go, when Nigel Williams-Goss scored a three-pointer to hand Real Madrid 77:80 lead. James Nunnally missed on the other end with 12 seconds to go and Mario Hezonja sealed the win for the Spanish side on the other end with a couple of free throws for a 5-point advantage (77:82). Zach LeDay managed to score a three-pointer for the black and white with 3 seconds to go (80:82), but it was too late for a total comeback, as neither of the two squads managed to score until the end again.

For Partizan Mozzart Bet, Zach LeDay and Alen Smailagić led the way in scoring with 15 points contributed each.

This way, Real Madrid have cut their deficit in the series to 2:1 for Partizan Mozzart Bet, as the series go towards the fourth game, where the Belgrade squads will have another chance to secure themselves a spot at the Final Four Tournament.
