Story of the game: The quarterfinal battle between Partizan Mozzart Bet and SC Derby is set to get underway as tipoff is set for Monday evening in Aleksandar Nikolić Sports Hall.
Partizan Mozzart Bet is coming off their Euroleague playoff series against Real Madrid and set their focus to the AdmiralBet ABA League playoffs. SC Derby is making their regional league playoff debut in just their second season of participating in the AdmiralBet ABA League.
SC Derby put up a good fight against the first-seeded Partizan Mozzart Bet in Belgrade at the start of the season, the black and white were able to pull away with the win in the final quarter.
The winner of this series will meet Cedevita Olimpija in the semifinals.
Match-up in focus: The battle between the two American sharpshooters will be interesting to follow, Fletcher Magee, one of the top scorers for SC Derby, and Partizan Mozzart Bet's captain Kevin Punter. Both are terrific shooters from beyond the arc, Magee shot 42% from beyond the field this season while Punter shot 43% from three-point range. It will be exciting to watch who will catch fire and lead their team to an importnat playoff win.
