German international Justus Hollatz is coming to Ljubljana
Cedevita Olimpija has started assembling a team for the 2023/24 season. The young German National Team player Justus Hollatz, who spent last season in the jersey of the Spanish club Breogán, is coming to Ljubljana.

German international Justus Hollatz, who is moving to Ljubljana from Spain, will be wearing the jersey of Cedevita Olimpija for the forthcoming three seasons. In the 2022/23 season, Hollatz wore the jersey of Breogán, and before that he wore the jersey of Hamburg Towers for four seasons, with whom he also appeared in the 7DAYS EuroCup.
"I am grateful that I will have the opportunity to play for a team with such a great history. I am really happy. I know that the last season was hard for Cedevita Olimpija, but I want the upcoming one to be better in all international competitions. I will do everything the team asked of me, but at the same time I'm already looking forward to meeting the fans and people in Ljubljana. I'm looking forward to coming to Slovenia, and I can't wait to meet my teammates and start working with members of the coaching staff," Hollatz upon announcement of the signing with Cedevita Olimpija.
The German international, who was born in Hamburg, wore the jersey of Breogán last season and appeared in 34 ACB League games, averaging 7.9 points, 3.3 assists and 2.1 rebounds per game.
On the international stage, Hollatz made his first appearance in senior competition in the qualifiers for EuroBasket 2022 and played in two games, and later stepped on the floor four times at last year's EuroBasket and averaged 1.3 points and 2.8 assists. He got many more opportunities to play in the qualifiers for the 2023 World Cup, where he appeared in 12 games and averaged 6.8 points, 4.4 assists and 1.9 rebounds per game. Justus can also be found on the preliminary squad of the Germany National Team for the upcoming World Cup.

Nemški representant Justus Hollatz prihaja v Ljubljano
Cedevita Olimpija je začela sestavljati člansko ekipo, ki jo bomo lahko na parketu spremljali v sezoni 2023/24. V Ljubljano iz Španije prihaja mladi nemški reprezentant Justus Hollatz, ki je minulo sezono preživel v dresu španskega kluba Breogán.
Na mestu organizatorja igre bomo v dresu Cedevite Olimpije v prihajajočih treh sezonah lahko spremljali nemškega reprezentanta Justusa Hollatza, ki se v Ljubljano seli iz Španije. V sezoni 2022/23 je Hollatz nosil dres Breogána, pred tem pa je štiri sezone nosil dres Hamburg Towersov, s katerimi je nastopal tudi v 7DAYS EuroCupu.
"Hvaležen sem, da bom imel možnost zaigrati za kolektiv s tako veliko zgodovino. Resnično sem srečen. Vem, da je bila zadnja sezona za Cedevito Olimpijo težka, a želim si, da bo prihajajoča boljša v vseh tekmovanjih. Napravil bom vse, kar bo ekipa zahtevala od mene, hkrati pa se že veselim, da spoznam navijače in ljudi v Ljubljani. Veselim se prihoda v Slovenijo, komaj pa čakam tudi, da se spoznam s soigralci in začnem delo s člani strokovnega štaba," je ob naznanitvi podpisa pogodbe z ljubljanskim klubom povedal Hollatz.
Nemški reprezentant, sicer rojen v Hamburgu, je v minuli sezoni nosil dres Breogána, zaigral pa je na 34 tekmah Lige ACB in v povprečju dosegal 7,9 točke, 3,3 asistence in 2,1 skoka na tekmo.
Na mednarodnem prizorišču se je v članski konkurenci Hollatz prvič predstavil v kvalifikacijah za EuroBasket 2022 in zaigral na dveh tekmah, kasneje pa na lanskem EuroBasketu na parket stopil štirikrat in v povprečju dosegal 1,3 točke ter 2,8 asistence. Veliko več priložnosti za igro je dobil v kvalifikacijah za svetovno prvenstvo 2023, kjer je zaigral na 12 tekmah in v povprečju beležil 6,8 točke, 4,4 asistence ter 1,9 skoke na tekmo. Justusa lahko najdemo tudi na širšem seznamu nemške reprezentance za nastop na prihajajočem svetovnem prvenstvu.
