Budućnost VOLI have signed with Allerik Freeman

A player, born in Norfolk (Virginia), used to play in the NCAA for Baylor and NC State Universities, while he started his European journey at Alba Fehervar, from where he moved on to Turkey, to the squad of Bursa.

He played for Frutti Extra Bursaspor twice, whle he also played for Shenzen and Qingdao, as well as in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague for the squad of Asvel.

After his second term in Bursa, he moved to CSKA Moscow, where he spent half a season, afterwards moving to Umana Reyer Venice. He finished the season in Turkey in the squad of Besiktas.

Allerik Freeman is an excellent scorer from beyond the arc. In Besiktas, he has been averaging 18.9 points per game, while in his career he has never been averaging below 38% from behind the three-point line. He can also cover the point guard position, since he loves to play with ball in his hands.

Budućnost VOLI potpisala Alerika Frimena

Američki bek, Alerik Frimen, (28 godina, 191 cm) dolazi u Podgoricu iz ekipe Bešiktaša.

Košarkaš rođen u Norfolku (Virdžinija), nastupao je u NCAA za Bejlor i NC Stejt, a svoju evropsku priču počeo je u mađarskoj Albi Fehevar, odakle se preselio u Tursku, preciznije u ekipu Burse.

Za Bursu je igrao u dva navrata, a u međuvremenu je nastupao i za kineske Šenzen i Kvindago, kao i u Evroligi za ekipu Asvela.

Nakon drugog mandata u Bursi seli se u redove evropskog gigata CSKA iz Moskve, gdje je odigrao jednu polusezonu, da bi potom igrao za ekipu Venecije. Sezonu je završio ponovo u Turskoj, odnosno u ekipo Bešiktaša.

Riječ je o momku koji je dokazani skorer, odličan sa distance, a u Bešiktašu je u prosjeku ubacivao 18,9 poena po meču.
Iako igra na poziciji beka, može da bude i sekundarni organizator igre, jer voli da igra sa loptom u rukama. Prepoznat kao odličan šuter i u karijeri nije šutirao ispod 38% van linije 6.75m.
