Are you interested in the AdmiralBet ABA League all-time records? Check out the following article and find out which major stats changes occurred during the 2022/23 season.

With another thrilling season behind us, it's time to see which individual and team records were achieved over the past year.

Individual single-game records:

Back on October 9, 2022, Daron Russell (ex-Mornar Barsko zlato) set the new all-time league record for the most points scored in a single game. Russell scored 47 points in the match against Zadar and therefore broke the record that was previously held by another Mornar-Barsko zlato player Vladimir Mihailović (46 points).

Interesting enough, 4 of the top 10 single-game scoring records were achieved in the previous season. Darron Russell scored 47 and 41 points, Trent Frazier (ex-FMP Soccerbet) scored 45 points, while Hunter Hale (Borac Mozzart) made 44 points in a single game.

Darron Russell has also raised the bar when it comes to FG attempts in a single game. Since the 2022/23 season, the most FG attempts in a single game had former Igokea m:tel player Desmond Washington who made 27 FG attempts on October 2, 2017.

In the previous season, Russell had games with 31, 30, 29 (twice) and 26 FG attempts. Therefore, not just that he broke the record of Desmond Washington, but Russell is now holding the top 4 records for the most FG attempts in a single game.

There is one more thing about Russell. He has also tied the record for the most FG3 attempts in a single game. Russell had 18 FG3 attempts three times in the previous season, which is the same as former Crvena zvezda Meridianbet player Milan Gurović had back on January 1, 2007.

We have also seen several other Top 10 achievements in the previous season:

Luka Božić (Zadar) and Trent Frazier (ex-FMP Soccerbet) have both had single-game index rating of 51, which is the 6th best score in league history. The record is still in possession of former Partzan Mozzart Bet player Dejan Milojević who had single-game index rating of 59.

Alen Omić (Cedevita Olimpija) made 12 offensive rebounds in a single game and therefore tied the 2nd best single-game score ever recorded in the AdmiralBet ABA League. Meanwhile, Marko Pecarski (Mornar-Barsko zlato) made 11 offensive rebounds in a single game and tied the 3rd best single-game score in this category. Former Zagreb player Mario Kasun still holds the all-time record with 14 offensive rebounds in a single-game.

Borna Kapusta (Cibona) made 15 assists in the opening game of the previous season, which is the 7th best single-game score in league history. Former Koper Primorska player Žan Mark Šiško is still the all-time leader in this category with 19 assists made in a single game.

Luka Mitrović (Crvena zvezda Meridianbet) was 10/10 for 2 points in Round 15 of the previous season, which is the 2nd best score for the perfect FG2 game in league history. Once again, the all-time record is still in possession of former Zagreb player Mario Kasun who had 14/14 for 2-points.

It is also worth mentioning the achievement of Hunter Hale (Borac Mozzart) who was 13/13 from the free throw line in Round 25, which is the 4th best score in league history. The most free throws made without a miss in a single game had Aleksandar Rašić (15/15).

By scoring 9 three-pointers in Round 1, Darron Russell (ex-Mornar-Barsko zlato) tied the 2nd best score for the most 3-pointers made in a single-game by one player. He lacked just 1 three-pointer to tie with record holders Josip Sesar and Teemu Rannikko who both scored 10 three-pointers in a single game.

Lewis Sulivan (Split) scored 23 points in Round 24, without missing a single shor for the entire game (8/8 FG, 5/5 FT). That's the 3rd best score in league history, while the first place on this list still holds Fran Pilepić who made 26 points without missing a single shot in the game.

All-Time lists:

Branko Lazić (Crvena zvezda Meridianbet) is the new leader when it comes to the number of games played in AdmiralBet ABA League. Lazić has so far played 385 games in the regional league and has therefore surpassed former Cibona player Marin Rozić (377).

Suad Šehović (ex-Budućnost VOLI) has also entered the club 300+ as only the 6th player in league history to play 300+ games.

Speaking abut Šehović, we have to mention that he set the new all-time record for the most 3-pointers scored in league history. Šehović has scored 406 three-pointers while playing in the AdmiralBet ABA League and has therefore surpassed Siniša Štemberger (403).

Alen Omić (Cedevita Olimpija) is the new offensive rebounds leader as he has now collected 447 offensive rebounds during his regional league career. Omić surpassed Smilan Pavič (432) to take over the 1st place on this all-time list.
