McKinley Wright IV joins Budućnost VOLI
McKinley Wright IV signs his first pro contract in Europe with Budućnost VOLI.

The seventh reinforcement of the blue and white this summer comes from the Dallas Mavericks! The latest player to sign with Buducnost VOLI is McKinley Wright IV!
The 24-year-old point guard comes to Podgorica directly from the NBA league, where last season he played in rotation with Luka Dončić and Kyrie Irving. He played the first part of the season for the Texas Legends.
In the G League, he averaged 19 points and seven assists per game for the Texas Legends.
While in Dallas, he recorded 4.2 points, 2.2 assists and 1.7 rebounds in 12.5 minutes per match. McKinley was born and raised in Minnesota, where he graduated from high school, before going to the University of Colorado.
After four years in the NCAA, he left setting the school assist record, and was the sixth leading scorer and tenth in the number of steals.
After college played in his native Minnesota, for the Minnesota Timberwolves, from where he moved to Dallas.

Upravo je u G ligi imao sjane partije sa 19 poena i sedam asistencija u prosjeku po utakmici.
U dresu Dalasa je u 12.5 minuta po meču bilježio 4.2 poena, 2.2 asistencije i 1.7 skokova.
Momak rođen i odrastao u Minesoti, gdje je i završio srednju školu, prije nego što je pošao na Univerzitet Kolorado.
Nakon četiri godine u NCAA odlazi kao najbolji asistent u istoriji ovog košarkaškog programa, kao šesti strijelac i kao deseti po broju ukradinih lopti.
Igrao je potom u rodnoj Minesoti, kao igrač Minesota Timbervulvsa, odakle je prešao u Dalas.
Košarkaški IQ i pronalazak slobodnih saigrača, savršenim pasovima je zaštitni znak Mekinlija. Sjajno se snalazi u Pick’n’Rollu gdje kreira i za sebe i za saigrače.
Riječ je o košarkašu koji odlično umije da pronađe "rupu" u protivničkoj odbrani i postigne poene iz takozvanog floatera.
Prepoznat je u NBA ligi kao fantastičan defanzivac koji pravi pritisak na igračima sa loptom.
Radi sve male stvari. Skače, postavlja se za faul u napadu, komunicira, sjajan timski defanzivac.
