Conclusions of the ABA League j.t.d. Assembly session in Zagreb
At the ABA League j.t.d. Assembly session, which has begun on 17 July 2023 and has continued on 24 July 2023 in Zagreb, a series of decisions with a goal of further growth and progress of the company and all of the competitions under its umbrella, have been adopted.

All of the attendance records have been broken in the previous season, the TV ratings, as well as in terms of the digital communications, which has reflected directly on the greater sponsorship revenues and they bring a clear conclusion, that the 2022/23 season has been an extremely successful one and in accordance with the majority of the aspects the best since the establishment of the regional competitions, which the reports by the Director Dubravko Kmetović and Sports Director Milija Vojinović have confirmed.
There has been major progress in the quality of the officiating in the 2022/23 season as well, which is the conclusion of the adopted report by Srđan Dožai, the Commissioner for delegating referees at ABA Liga j.t.d.
In accordance with the Company Agreement, and with the consent of all of the present members of the Company, changes in the ABA League j.t.d. Presidency have been made, in accordance with which Vana Dundov, representative of Zadar, has taken over the position of the President of the ABA League j.t.d. for the 2023/24 season. Goran Ćakić, the representative of Mega MIS, has become the first Vice-President of the company, while Jure Balažič, representative of Krka has become the second Vice-President.

In accordance with the rankings in the domestic championships, the ABA League j.t.d. Assembly session has confirmed 13 participants of the NLB ABA League 2 for the 2023/24 season. The teams are Borac WWIN, Široki, Podgorica, Sutjeska Elektroprivreda, Cedevita Junior, GKK Šibenka, Pelister-Bitola, TFT Mozzart Skopje, Gorenjska gradbena družba Šenčur, Helios Suns, Zlatibor Gold Gondola and Spartak Subotica. The last participant of the NLB ABA League 2 for the 2023/24 season will be determined through qualifiers, in which Spars, Vojvodina, Ilirija and Bosna Meridianbet will participate.
The qualifiers will be played in a best of two format, where the team with a better aggregate score wins the series. The Semi-final pairs are Vojvodina – Spars and Ilirija – Bosna Meridianbet. The games will take place on 23 and 27 September 2023. The dates of the Finals of the Qualifiers are 1 and 5 October 2023.

Ahead of the second part of the Assembly session, the gathered members of the Assembly have observed a minute of silence in honour of the recently deceased giant of the regional, European and World basketball Mirko Novosel.
