Split complete their 3rd transfer as they ink contract with Cameron Shelton

Split have a new name in their 2023/24 roster as they officially announced the signing of American guard Cameron Shelton.

Split will be Shelton’s first club in his pro career as he spent the last 5 years at college.

Shelton has studied at the Northern Arizona University (2018-2021) and at the Loyola Marymount University (2021-2023), while in his final year at the college he averaged 21.4 points, 5.4 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game.

Recall that Split have so far this summer signed contracts with three new players, including Lovro Gnjidić (Cedevita Olimpija), Krešimir Ljubičić (Cibona) and now with Cameron Shelton.

Cam je star 23 godine (rođen 28.12.1999. godine u Chino Hillsu u Californiji), a posljednju sveučilišnu sezonu igrao je za Loyolu Marymount i imao prosjek od 21,4 poena, 5,4 skokova, 4,2 asistencije po utakmici. Ljevoruki Amerikanac visok je 188 centimetara, igranje u Splitu bit će mu prvo europsko iskustvo. Cam će igrati u dresu broj 20.
