Preseason: Wins for Cedevita Olimpija and Budućnost VOLI

Cedevita Olimpija out-gunned Euroleague squad Panathinaikos 90:78 in Stožice, the dragons also revealed their new jerseys for the new season in their home debut. The visitors took the lead in the first half, at the break the Greek squad held a 5-point lead. Cedevita Olimpija took over the game in the second half, they outscored Panathinaikos 47:30. Karlo Matković was the top scorer for Cedevita Olimpija dropping 17 points. 

Budućnost VOLI and Split went head to head in Podgorica where the hosts got the preseason win 87:75. It was a close game through the first three quarters, heading into the final 10 minutes the score was tied up at 58. Budućnost VOLI took over the game in the final quarter outscoring Split 29:17 in the last 10 minutes. McKinley Wright led Budućnost VOLI with 20 points while Krešimir Ljubičić was the top scorer for Split with 17 points. 

Krka suffered a defeat against top-tier German squad Mitteldeutscher 69:74 in their third preseason game. The Germans took control of the game early and by the halftime break, they held a 14-point advantage. Krka cut the lead in the second half but could not complete the comeback. Miha Cerkvenik was the top scorer for Krka with 14 points. 

In the tournament celebrating 50 years of Igokea m:tel, the hosts were defeated by Turkish squad Galatasaray 71:82. Igokea m:tel kept the game close for 30 minutes then the visitors pulled away in the final quarter to get the win. Zoran Nikolić was the go-to man for Igokea m:tel scoring 19 points.
