Cedevita Olimpija and Igokea m:tel set to open the 2023 ABA Super Cup

ABA Basketball is back and it returns with the opening game of the 2023 ABA Super Cup, which is the Quarterfinal clash between Cedevita Olimpija, the Semi-finalists of the last season’s AdmiralBet ABA League and Igokea m:tel, that finished last season in the ninth place in the standings, just missing the Playoffs action.
Their results from the last season do not matter too much, though, since both of the two squads have undergone major changes, with Cedevita Olimpija bringing in 10 reinforcements for the 2023/24 season, amongst which we can find the names like Justin Cobbs, Jaka Blažič, Amadou Sow and others, led by new head coach Simone Pianigiani, while Igokea m:tel brought in 7, like Edin Atić, Zoran Nikolić, Nemanja Gordić, to name just a few.
This time, they face in the battle for the Semi-finals, where the winner of this game will face the winning side of the clash between Partizan Mozzart Bet and Mega MIS.
