In the third quarterfinal matchup, the ABA Super Cup hosts, Budućnost VOLI, will take on a team that surprised everyone last season, Zadar.
Budućnost VOLI wants to take advantage of playing at home in front of their fans, but it will not be easy as Zadar will undoubtedly have something to say about that. Last season, these two teams met twice, and both times, Budućnost VOLI came out victorious; nonetheless, those were hard wins against a good Zadar team.
Zadar managed to keep their core group of guys together from last season, including the AdmiralBet ABA League MVP Luka Božić while adding pieces like Lovro Mazalin and Patrik Jambrović. Budućnost VOLI on the other hand brought in a new group of guys and want to start off their season on the right foot.
Who will punch their ticket to the ABA Super Cup semi-finals, Zadar or Budućnost VOLI?
