PRESEASON: Victories for Cibona, Crvena zvezda Meridianbet, Krka and Borac Mozzart

In Saturday’s preseason games, Cibona, Crvena zvezda Meridian Bet, Krka and Borac Mozzart have been victorious, by prevailing over Borac WWIN, Alba Berlin, Dubrava and Split.

Crvena zvezda Meridianbet have prevailed over Alba Berlin in the Semi-finals of the Magenta Cup in Munich and qualified for the Final, which will take place on Sunday. Zvezda have been a better opponent than Alba throughout the game and after they were up by a point after the opening quarter and by 4 points by halftime, their lead became double-digit after 3 quarters (46:56) and they celebrated a convincing win in the end with the final score of 74:56. For Crvena zvezda Meridianbet, Luka Mitrović led the way in scoring with 16 points on his record, while Adam Hanga added 10. In the final of the Magenta Tournament, Zvezda will face Bayern Munich.

At the Dubrava tournament, Cibona have rolled over Borac WWIN, with the final score of 80:56, in a game, which has turned out to be a fairly one-sided contest. In the end, Krešimir Radovičić and Jakov Mustapić have topped the scorers’ list for Cibona with 13 points scored each.

In the second game of the tournament in Dubrava, Krka have outgunned the home Dubrava side, without problems, after being in front throughout the game. They have been up by 13 points by halftime and continued to cruise towards a comfortable 84:76 win in the end. For Krka, Jairus Hamilton scored 17 points and Robert Jurković 15. In the final of the Dubrava tournament Krka will face Cibona.

There has been a clash of the two AdmiralBet ABA League sides at the tournament in Pecara Sports Hall in Široki Brijeg, where Split have faced Borac Mozzart an the latter were the ones to advance to the final of the tournament. At halftime, the two sides were tied at the score of 38:38, but in the third quarter, Borac made a decisive push and pulled away by 9 points, which was enough for them to be able to cruise towards an 84:76 win in the end. For Borac, Bojan Tomašević has been the most efficient player, with 25 points scored and Ronaldo Segu added 18. For Split, Cameron Shelton had 20 points and Tonko Vuko 13. In the final of the tournament in Pecara, Borac Mozzart will face Helios Suns, while Split will battle against hosts Široki for the third place.
