PRESEASON: Tournament wins for Cibona and Borac Mozzart

Cibona and Borac Mozzart got preseason tournament wins, while Split beat Široki to get third place and Crvena zvezda Meridianbet suffered a defeat to Bayern Munich.

In Sunday night preseason action, Cibona and Borac Mozzart got preseason tournament wins, while Split beat Široki to get third place and Crvena zvezda Meridianbet suffered a defeat to Bayern Munich. 

In the final of the Dubrava Cup in Zagreb, Cibona got a convincing win against Krka 95:78 in the final. Cibona pulled away in the first half building a lead they would ride until the end of the game. Jakov Mustapić and Tomislav Buljan led the way for Cibona, they were the top scorers with 21 and 20 points respectively. Leon Stergar was the top scorer for Krka, finishing the game with 17 points. 

In the match for third place at the Široki Memorial Tournament, Split beat the hosts Široki 82:75. Tonko Vuko led his squad to third place in the tournament scoring a game-high 26 points while Lovre Runjić added 18 points of his own. In the final, Borac Mozzart dominated in the win against Kansai Helios 91:66 to get the preseason trophy. Ronaldo Segu led his team in scoring with 14 points, Nikola Majnolović followed with 12. 

In the final of the Magenta Cup, Crvena zvezda Meridianbet suffered a close defeat against Bayern Munich in the final 84:82. Duško Ivanović's squad built a good lead in the first half, but the host would claw their way back into the game and squeeze away with the win. Adam Hanga was the top scorer for Crvena zvezda Meridianbet, he put up 15 points in the effort.
