FMP Soccerbet suffered an early elimination from the 2023/24 FIBA Basketball Champions League Qualifiers as they were defeated by Italian team Pallacanestro Varese in a thrilling ending.
The Panthers entered the 4th quarter with an 11-point lead – 60:49, however Pallacanestro Varese then started melting the gap rapidly… All the way until they have taken the lead – 71:68.
FMP Soccerbet’s summer signing Jordan Walker have managed to hit the 3-pointer and tie the score – 71:71, but then Olivier Hanlan scored the key two-pointer to put Pallacanestro Varese back in front – 73:71, with just 1.7 seconds left on the game clock.
After that, FMP Soccerbet player Lamonte Turner missed a 3-point shot at the buzzer and the final score remained 73:71 for Pallacanestro Varese.
