The ABA League j.t.d. will implement a major change regarding the challenge rule for the following season in order to secure further growth and development of all of the competitions under its umbrella.
After consulting with head coaches of our teams, it has been decided that head coaches will keep their challenges if they are successful.
It means that as long their challenge call is successful, head coaches will maintain that challenge and can use it in the rest of the match.
On top of that, following the official ECA rules, each team will be entitled to two coach challenges per game in the 2023/24 season, which is one more than in the previous season.
It is also important to mention that each coach will be able to use only 1 challenge in the last two minutes of the game, regardless of whether he has 1 or 2 challenges left at that moment.
