Story of the game: In the final match of Round 2, Cibona will host FMP Soccerbet in Zagreb this Monday evening.
Each side will be looking for their first win of the season, after suffering disappointing defeats in the opening round.
Cibona lost the away match against Borac Mozzart at the start of the new season, while FMP Soccerbet were defeated by league newcomers Krka at home in Belgrade.
These two teams had some epic clashes in the regional competition, like the one from the 2004 Final when FMP Soccerbet prevailed over Cibona in Zagreb to take the title.
Last season, each side triumphed at home in their head-to-head games. Cibona defeated FMP Soccerbet in Zagreb by 110:99, while FMP Soccerbet prevailed in Belgrade by 111:75.
Match-up in focus: Aleksandar Aranitović was by far the best player of Cibona in the opening round when he scored 21 points and eventually got his place in the AdmiralBet ABA Basketball Fantasy Dream Team with the index rating of 25.
On the other side, FMP Soccerbet’s latest signing Hugo Besson had an impressive AdmiralBet ABA League debut as he scored 23 points in his first ever match in the regional league.
