Crvena zvezda Meridianbet part ways with head coach Duško Ivanović

Crvena zvezda Meridianbet announced that they have parted ways with head coach Duško Ivanović.

The club thanked coach Ivanović on everything he has done in the previous period, on his enormous work and effort and on the way he was representing the club as its head coach. Crvena zvezda Meridianbet also wished Ivanović all the best in his future career.

Duško Ivanović became Crvena zvezda Meridianbet head coach in November 2023, while in the previous season he won two trophies with the red-and-whites (Serbian National Championship and Serbian National Cup), while he also reached the 2023 AdmiralBet ABA League Finals and finished the 2022/23 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague regular season with the score 17-17.

In this season, Ivanović led Crvena zvezda Meridianbet to a perfect start in the AdmiralBet ABA League with all 3 wins in the opening 3 rounds, however the team lost 3 out of 4 games in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.

Duško Ivanović više nije trener Crvene zvezde Meridianbet

KK Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet obaveštava javnost da Duško Ivanović više nije prvi trener našeg seniorskog tima.

Klub se ovom prilikom još jednom zahvaljuje Dušku Ivanoviću na svemu što smo zajedno učinili u prethodnom periodu, ogromnom radu i trudu koji je uložio, načinu na koji je predstavljao klub kao trener prvog tima, i želi mu mnogo zdravlja i uspeha u narednom periodu i na novom profesionalnom izazovu.

Duško Ivanović preuzeo je ekipu tokom novembra 2023.godine, sa Crvenom zvezdom je osvojio dva trofeja, Kup Radivoja Koraća i prvenstvo Srbije, igrao je finale ABA lige, i nakon lošeg starta, završio takmičenje u Evroligi sa skorom 17-17.
