Luka Božić has proven, throughout the months of September and October, his dominance on the AdmiralBet ABA League courts wherever he has appeared and besides the fact that he finished the month at the very top of the statistical category of valuation, he deserved himself the award with his contribution to the team's success – Zadar have won 3 out of 5 games played in that period and are placed in the upper half of the standings.

The star player in the ranks of the Zadar squad averaged 27 points, 7.2 rebounds, 5.2 assists, 1.8 steals and a valuation of 35.6 during the games of Zadar in September and October.

“I believe that from one season to another, I am improving things that I lack in my game and so, thank god, a progress is visible. I would never say that this is my maximum or that I have reached my peak, since through life I always strive to be better than yesterday,” Luka Božić told when asked about the secret of his great performances and whether this is his best possible level of game.

Luka Božić has crowned himself the MVP of the 2022/23 AdmiralBet ABA League Regular Season and keeps up with his excellent performances in the current one. When asked about the source of his motivation to be at his best all the time, the leader of Zadar told: “For me it’s easy to find motivation everywhere, although I would rather not speak about particular things that motivate me the most, since lots of people would say, that I am not quite normal (laughs). Team-mates, head coach, the entire coaching staff and medical team help me a lot. Of course, there is my family and what I wish to point out as the most important thing – God, that decides about everything. My effort and everything can be in vain if God does not decide that it’s meant to be.”

This is not the first season in Zadar for Luka Božić and we wanted to know how the entire environment and the fans’ support help him play his best possible basketball. “It helps a lot. Zadar is the most beautiful town in the World and I feel nice and cosy here. That’s also the reason why I turned down some financially bigger offers ahead of the season,” Luka told.

And what are the goals for remainder of the season? “It’s difficult to speak about goals. I believe that it is the most important thing to give our best possible performance in each game and play fully focused. If God gives us health and luck, it might be enough for us to make our fans happy.”
