Story of the game: Two former European champions are facing each other this Sunday evening in Round 6 of the 2023/24 AdmiralBet ABA League regular season.

Some older basketball fans remember very well the big battles between these two teams in the late 80s and at the beginning of the 90s. Those were the years when these two teams dominated not just the region, but the entire Europe.
Now, the situation is a bit different as Split are doing everything they can to get away from the bottom of the standings as they currently have the overall score of 1-4, while on the other side Partizan Mozzart Bet are the reigning champions of the regional league and they started the 2023/24 campaign with a 4-1 score.
