ABA League j.t.d. strongly condemns the incident in Zadar

After shocking scenes that happened in Zadar on Saturday evening and assaults on the journalists and members of the delegation of Crvena zvezda Meridianbet, ahead of the seventh round game of the AdmiralBet ABA League between Zadar and Crvena zvezda Meridianbet, ABA League j.t.d. strongly condemns every aspect of violence, and racial, sexual, religious, national and any other type of discrimination.

ABA League j.t.d. joins the appeals of Zadar and Crvena zvezda Meridianbet towards the Croatian Ministry of Internal Affairs, with an intention that all of the details of the assault be examined as soon as possible, and that the organizers and perpetrators of the incident be arrested and prosecuted in the accordance with the laws of the Republic of Croatia, where the assaults took place.

At the same time, through communication with the clubs and other security factors, ABA League j.t.d. will do everything in order for the game of the Round 7 between Zadar and Crvena zvezda Meridianbet to pass without a single incident and that we all demonstrate once again, that it was an isolated case, which casts a shadow on all of the postulates of the ABA League j.t.d. and foundations on which it has been founded.

We are convinced that together we will win in this struggle and that, just as before, ABA League will continue to connect, not divide people.
