ABA League j.t.d. report on the game between Partizan Mozzart Bet and Igokea m:tel

The ABA League j.t.d. Referees Commission issues the following statement regarding the situation from the game of the Round 7 of the AdmiralBet ABA League between Partizan Mozzart Bet and Igokea m:tel, that occured with 2:20 left in the fourth period, when the referees have, during the game, but also after checking the IRS, awarded a personal foul to Zach LeDay, clarifying their decision as the situation where the "defensive player tried to reach out for the ball".

This has not been a good decision. The player of Partizan Mozzart Bet with number 2 on his jersey, Zach LeDay, should have been awarded an unsportsmanlike foul in accordance with the rules of the basketball game, arcticle 37.1.1, criterion 2 "excessive, strong contact, that the player made in attempt of reaching out for the ball or the opponent."
