EC: Budućnost VOLI and Cedevita Olimpija suffer defeats

This was not a good day for AdmiralBet ABA League clubs in BKT EuroCup as both Budućnost VOLI and Cedevita Olimpija suffered defeats in Round 11 of the regular season.
Budućnost VOLI were defeated by Turk Telekom at home – 73:96. The Podgorica team were down by just 2 points at halftime – 37:39, however then their defense just fell apart in the 2nd half in which they conceded 57 points and let Turk Telekom seize quite a comfortable win at the end.
Cedevita Olimpija were very close to clinch their first win in the 2023/24 BKT EuroCup season, however at the end they suffered a narrow defeat against Joventut Badalona on the road – 81:83.
Justin Cobbs had a chance to win this match for the Dragons, however his 3-point shot that came right at the 4th quarter buzzer only hit the rim and the score remained 83:81 for the Spanish side.
