Zlatibor Gold Gondola have scored another big win as they prevailed over Podgorica in Round 9 of the 2023/24 NLB ABA League 2 regular season. 

Zlatibor Gold Gondola had a slow start as they were down by 15 points already in the 1^st quarter… However, that’s the moment when this team started hitting 3-point shots from all over the court.

With their tonight’s leader Jan Rebec on fire, Zlatibor Gold Gondola have managed to take over the lead already by halftime – 49:48, while then this team went on to play their best 10 minutes in this game as they won the 3^rd quarter by 23:8 to definitely break their opponents – 72:56.

We mentioned Jan Rebec earlier in the text for a reason as he scored 8 three-pointers tonight and therefore tied the 2^nd best single-game record in league history. Only former Vršac player Mirko Đerić scored more three-pointers in a single game than Rebec as Đerić hit 9 threes back in 2017 in the match between Vršac and Split.

It is also worth mentioning that Rebec made 7 out of those 8 three-pointers in the first half.

With another win on their record, Zlatibor Gold Gondola have remained at the top of the table with the overall score of 8-1, while Podgorica are now at the 5^th place with the overall score of 5-4.
