National Cups: Crvena zvezda Meridianbet prevail over Partizan Mozzart Bet to win the 2024 Serbian National Cup

Crvena zvezda Meridianbet have won their 4th consecutive Serbian National Cup as they beat Partizan Mozzart Bet in the Final by 85:79.

Crvena zvezda Meridianbet have won their 4th consecutive Serbian National Cup as they beat Partizan Mozzart Bet in the Final by 85:79.

The red-and-whites had a bit of a slow start as they were trailing almost the entire first half, but they have still managed to reduce the gap to just a single point before the halftime – 43:44.

Zvezda picked up the good momentum in the final minutes of the first half, while then they used it to completely turn the things in their advantage in the 3rd quarter. The red-and-whites took over the lead in the 3rd period – 68:63, while then they went on to successfully defend that lead in the final 10 minutes.

Partizan Mozzart Bet did manage to reduce the margin to 3 points in the last minutes of the 4th quarter – 77:74, but then Crvena zvezda Meridianbet defended their basket for four plays in a row, while on the other side of the court Adam Hanga and Branko Lazić selaed the win for the red-and-whites with 4 points – 81:74.

Crvena zvezda Meridianbet have therefore won the 13th national cup in club's history.
