EuroBasket Qualifiers: Wins for Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia

In the opening games of the EuroBasket qualifiers Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina got wins while Croatia and North Macedonia suffer defeats.

In the opening match of Group E of the EuroBasket qualifiers Bosnia and Herzegovina got the convincing win on the road against Cyprus. After a close first quarter, Bosnia and Herzegovina took control of the game in the second quarter and never looked back. Leading them to victory were Džanan Musa who finished the night with 26 points and 8 assists while Budućnost VOLI's Kenan Kamenjaš had a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. 

In the second match of Group E, Croatia suffered a road defeat against France in Brest. The French gradually built their lead throughout the second and third quarters, eventually leading them to the win. Mario Hezonja had 22 points and 5 rebounds while Partizan Mozzart Bet's Jaleen Smith dropped 13 points and 3 assists for Croatia. 

In Group G action, Serbia won against Finland at home in Aleksandar Nikolić Hall in Belgrade. The Serbians took control of the game in the second and third quarter, they would hold on to the advantage to lock up their first win in EuroBasket qualifiers. Luka Mitrović flirted with a double-double in the win with 19 points and 9 rebounds while Aleksa Avramović helped his squad with 18 points. 

North Macedonia was defeated at home against Estonia in Group H play. It was a close game and the Macedonians put up a good fight at the end but unfortunately not enough to lock up the win. Nenad Dimitrijević was the top player for North Macedonia with 25 points and 3 assists.
