Crvena zvezda Meridianbet have ended their 6-game losing streak in the 2023/24 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague regular season after defeating Virtus Segafredo Bologna in Belgrade in Round 31.

Crvena zvezda Meridianbet have ended their 6-game losing streak in the 2023/24 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague regular season after defeating Virtus Segafredo Bologna in Belgrade in Round 31.

Despite still being plagued by injuries, the red-and-whites managed to play a very good game against a very good opponent and to get the sweet win in front of their crowd.

There were two key things in this match that decided the winner. The first one occurred in the last 6 seconds of the first half when Crvena zvezda Meridianbet scored two quick three-pointers to gain a 6-point lead – 48:42.

The second one was the performance of Nemanja Nedović who stepped up for the Belgrade side this evening and scored 25 points to lead the troops toward the victory. Nedović was unstoppable in the 3rd quarter in which he scored 16 points.

Crvena zvezda Meridianbet now have the overall score of 11-20 in the 2023/24 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague regular season.
