Božić, LeDay, Kamenjaš, Teodosić and Topić form the Ideal Starting Five

Head coaches of ABA League teams, journalists and the fans have selected the 2023/24 AdmiralBet ABA League Ideal Starting Five, composed by Luka Božić, Zach LeDay, Kenan Kamenjaš, Miloš Teodosić and Nikola Topić.

Zadar star player Luka Božić is the player that received the highest % of combined votes of the head coaches, journalists and fans in the voting for the Ideal Starting Five of the 2023/24 season. He won the total of 16.8% votes and is followed by Zach Leday of Partizan Mozzart Bet (9.8%), Kenan Kamenjaš of Budućnost VOLI and SC Derby (8.2%), Miloš Teodosić of Crvena zvezda Meridianbet (7.5%) and Nikola Topić of Crvena zvezda Meridianbet and Mega MIS (6.2%).

Uroš Plavšić of Mega MIS (6%), Aleksa Avramović of Partizan Mozzart Bet (5.8%), Jaka Blažič of Cedevita Olimpija (5,2%), Kevin Punter of Partizan Mozzart Bet (4.3%) and Aleksandar Aranitović of Cibona (4.1%) are the ones that follow them.

In the voting of head coaches of AdmiralBet ABA League teams, Luka Božić received the highest number of votes, ahead of Zach LeDay and Kenan Kamenjaš. In the voting of journalists of the AdmiralBet ABA League countries, Luka Božić led the way ahead of Zach LeDay and Miloš Teodosić, while in the voting of the AdmiralBet ABA League fans, Luka Božić was ahead of Kevin Punter and Zach LeDay.

Miloš Teodosić (Crvena zvezda Meridianbet) – Crvena zvezda Meridianbet star player has been one of the most renown names in the AdmiralBet ABA League this season for sure and with his excellent performances in his first season as the floor general the Belgrade squad, he has earned himself a spot in the Ideal Starting Five. Teodosić has been averaging 6.9 points, 5.1 assists, 1.4 rebounds, and a valuation of 8.7 for the red and white Belgrade powerhouse.

Nikola Topić (Crvena zvezda Meridianbet and Mega MIS) – For Nikola Topić, the 2023/24 season has been the third in the AdmiralBet ABA League in his career so far, and the one in which he has made a total breakthrough. Playing for Mega MIS and Crvena zvezda Merdianbet, he has been averaging 17.9 points, 6.8 assists, 3.6 rebounds, 0.9 steals and a valuation of 19.5, presenting himself in the best possible light to the broader basketball public and announcing that he has an extremely bright future ahead of him.

Luka Božić (Zadar) – The 2023/24 season was the second truly remarkable season in a row for Luka Božić at Zadar, who also became the Top Scorer and MVP awards. He has been averaging 20.6 points, 8 rebounds, 6.2 assists, 1 steal, and a valuation of 29.2, as he led the Dalmatian squad to the 6th place in the standings at the end of the Regular Season. This episode, which started ahead of the 2022/23 season is his second one in Zadar for Luka, who already played in Višnjik in the 2017/18 and 2018/19 season.

Zach LeDay (Partizan Mozzart Bet) – The big man, who is playing his third season in a row at Partizan Mozzart Bet has earned himself a spot in the AdmiralBet ABA League Ideal Starting Five for the second time, as he has found his place amongst the best five players of the regional competition previously in the 2021/22 season. This season, in which he has been one of the key players, that took Partizan Mozzart Bet to the second place in the standings in the Regular Season, he has been averaging 10.9 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1 assist, and a valuation of 13.6.

Kenan Kamenjaš (Budućnost VOLI and SC Derby) – The player, that has begun the season at SC Derby, only to move to Budućnost VOLI midway through the season, has left one of the most remarkable impressions amongst all players, and has been shining for both teams throughout the season, leaving a significant statistical impact. He has been averaging 13.5 points, 8.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and a valuation of 20.4 per game.
