Game recap: Crvena zvezda Meridianbet pulled off a sensational 4th quarter comeback to beat SC Derby and take a 1-0 lead in this quarter-final series.
The Belgrade side was down by 15 points ahead of the final 10 minutes, but then they won the 4th quarter by 34:17 to grab the precious win and successfully start their 2023/24 Playoffs campaign.
On the other side, SC Derby will have lots of regrets after this heart-breaking defeat as they had the win in their pockets. Yet, the young squad from Podgorica can also be very proud with the way they played against the team who won the 1st place in the regular season.
Crvena zvezda Meridianbet have therefore taken the lead in this series, while Game 2 is scheduled for Monday, April 22 in Podgorica.
