2023/24 AdmiralBet ABA League Quarterfinals Round 2, Sunday, 21 April 2024:

CEDEVITA OLIMPIJA - MEGA MIS

Where? Stožice Arena, Ljubljana

When? 20:00

Story of the game: Cedevita Olimpija will host Mega MIS this Sunday evening in Game 2 of the quarter-finals.

The Dragons know very well that they have to win this game in order to stay alive in the Playoffs. Recall that Cedevita Olimpija conceded 119 points in Game 1 in Belgrade and suffered a pretty heavy defeat, which means that they do not have room for any further mistake in this series.

Cedevita Olimpija may be optimistic ahead of the upcoming match due to the fact that they have never lost a home game against Mega MIS in league history. The two sides faced each other 5 times in Ljubljana so far and Cedevita Olimpija have won all 5 games.

Meanwhile, Mega MIS troops look unstoppable in the past couple of months. The Pink team are on an 8-win run, counting both the regular season and the Playoffs, and they definitely do not plan to stop on that. Mega MIS showed quite a dominant performance in Game 1 when they broke the all-time Playoffs record for the most points scored in a single game by one team (119) and if they manage to repeat that kind of performance they will have a very good chance to finish this series already on Sunday evening.

Match-up in focus: Game 1 brought us a very interesting duel between Alen Omić (Cedevita Olimpija) and Uroš Plavšić (Mega MIS). Omić finished that game with 16 points and with the overall index rating of 25, while Plavšić recorded 13 points and overall index rating of 22.

There is no doubt that their duel will once again have huge impact on the final score.

Head-to-head score in the regional league: In total 8:3; In Ljubljana 3:0.
