Budućnost VOLI beat SC Derby in the Finals to claim their 16th Montenegrin national title

Budućnost VOLI are the champions of Montenegro for the 2023/24 season.

Budućnost VOLI defeated their city rivals SC Derby in the final series by 3-1 to claim their 16th Montenegrin national title.

The boys coached by Andrej Žakelj won the opening two games of the series, then SC Derby responded by taking Game 3 and reducing the gap to 2-1, while then Budućnost VOLI clinched Game 4 on the road to win the series by 3-1.

The hero of decisive Game 4 was Budućnost VOLI point guard Yogi Ferrell who scored 10 consecutive points for his team late in the 4th quarter, including the key 3-pointer that put his team up by 5 points – 81:76.
