Dominic Gilbert is coming back to Zadar. The player used to wear the jersey of Zadar in the 2019/20 season and won the Krešimir Ćosić Cup with the Zadar squad.

Ahead of him, Mate Kalajžić and Jan Rebec have signed with the Dalmatian squad, Lovro Mazalin and Krševan Klarica have extended their contracts and Antonio Sikirić came back from a loan at Zabok. Coach Danijel Jusup and Marko Ramljak and Karlo Žganec will continue their earlier agreed on cooperation with the club of Višnjik in the forthcoming season.

Dominic Gilbert se vraća u Zadar. Australski Hrvat nosio je dres Zadra u sezoni 2019/2020 te sa Zadranima osvojio Kup Krešimir Ćosić.
I tada mu je trener bio Danijel Jusup tako da Gilbert stiže na vrlo poznat teren i u poznato okruženje. Igrač je izrazite radne etike koji je jednom zgodom izjavio da njegov trening završava kada ga izbace iz dvorane.
Gilbert (28) je prije prvog angažmana u Zadru igrao za Kvarner 2010, Šanac Karlovac, Bosco i Cibonu (s kojom je osvojio naslov prvaka Hrvatske), a nakon Zadra za Heroes Den Bosch, ADA Blois, Alkar, Valladolid, Sutherland i Hong Kong Eastern.
Dominic Gilbert i Zadar su potpisali ugovor o suradnji do kraja sezone 2024/25. Prije njega za Zadar su potpisali Mate Kalajžić i Jan Rebec, suradnju produžili Lovro Mazalin i Krševan Klarica, a s posudbe iz Zaboka se vratio Antonio Sikirić. Trener Danijel Jusup te Marko Ramljak i Karlo Žganec nastavljaju ugovorom dogovorenu suradnju s klubom i u novoj sezoni.
