Croatia has secured a spot in the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament finals after they beat the Dominican Republic in a triller 77:80.

Croatia has secured a spot in the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament finals after they beat the Dominican Republic in a triller 77:80.
Croatia controlled the advantage throughout most of the game but never was able to pull away with a lead bigger than 10. Josip Sesar's squad kept their cool late in the game and managed to hang on and keep their Olympic dreams alive.
Ivica Zubac was unstoppable for Croatia tonight, he scored 25 points on a perfect 10/10 shooting performance to go along with 9 rebounds. Croatia's captain, Dario Šarić, finished the night with 14 points and 5 rebounds.
Tomorrow night at 20:00 Croatia will take on Giannis Antetokounmpo and tournament hosts Greece in a battle to secure a spot in the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
