BC Dubai have officially made their first summer signing as the league newcomers announced today that they have signed a 2-year contract with 28-year-old American point guard Nate Mason.
Mason spent the last season in Turkey where he played for Yukatel Merkezefendi. He was one of the team’s best players in the 2023/24 campaign, while he averaged 19.6 points and 6.7 assists per game.
Before that, Mason played for Le Mans, with whom he played in the FIBA Champions League, then for Atléticos de San Germán, Guangzhou Loong Lion, Avtodor, Hapoel Eilat and Texas Legends.
Dubai head coach Jurica Golemac expressed his excitement about his team’s first summer signing: “Nate was one of the most coveted point guards in Europe, attracting offers from Euroleague teams. His decision to join us reflects his confidence in our vision and the key role he’ll play. Dubai fans will be captivated by his unselfish style, and his performance will undoubtedly grow alongside the team.”
