BC Dubai have completed their 2nd transfer this summer as they inked a 1+1 contract with 31-year-old small forward Nemanja Dangubić.
Dangubić is therefore coming back to the AdmiralBet ABA League where he left quite a mark in the past by playing for 4 different teams from our region.
He started his pro career in Hemofarm in 2011, then he played two years for Mega MIS, while after that he spent 4 years in Crvena zvezda Meridianbet with whom he won three consecutive AdmiralBet ABA League championships.
Dangubić then moved abroad where he played for Bayern Munich and Estudiantes, while after that he returned to our region to play for Partizan Mozzart Bet from 2020 to 2022.
This 31-year-old forward spent the last two years in Greece, as he played for Promitheas Patras in the 2022/23 season and then for Peristeri in the 2023/24 season.
He averaged 7 points and 3.5 rebounds per game in the 2023/24 campaign.
“Nemanja, in addition to all his qualities, is first and foremost a team player. he plays great defense for the team, and in each team he’s been a part of, he performed for the good of the team. An unselfish and very smart player with experience in the ABA League”, said BC Dubai head coach Jurica Golemac.
