Split have started with preparations for the 2024/25 season

The Yellow troops gathered this Monday in Split to have their first training ahead of the upcoming season.

Split head coach Slaven Rimac had 13 players to work with at the start of preparations for the 2024/25 campaign, including Tonko Vuko, Vito Kučić, Krešimir Ljubičić, Boris Tišma, Ante Perkušić, Antonio Jordano, David Škara, Borna Kapusta, David Pavin, Antonio Klepo, Luka Nejašmić, Mateo Tomašević and Dominik Garac, while soon there will be more players at team trainings.

“Shannon Shorter will join the team next week, while we are currently working on the transfer of one more player,” said Split Sports Director Teo Čizmić.

Split have stayed without 6 players from the past season as the team parted ways with Mate Kalajžić, Toni Perković, Lovre Runjić, Lewis Sullivan, Marino Dubravčić and Derek Funderburk. Split thanked all of them for everything they have done for the club in the previous period.

Split počeo sa primpremama za novu sezonu

Krenuli su Žuti s pripremama za novu sezonu, na prvoj prozivci bili su Vuko, Kučić, Ljubičić, Tišma, Perkušić, Jordano, Škara, Kapusta, Pavin, Klepo, Nejašmić, Tomašević i Garac.

- Shorter nam se, sukladno dogovoru, priključuje sljedeći tjedan, a intezivno radimo na dolasku još jednog igrača - rekao je sportski direktor Splita Teo Čizmić.

U odnosu na prošlu sezonu na Gripama više nema Kalajžića, Perkovića, Runjića, Sullivana, Dubravčića i Funderburka, hvala im na svemu pruženom u žutom dresu.
