PRESEASON: Crvena zvezda Meridianbet edged out Hapoel

Another preseason win for Crvena zvezda Meridianbet, that have downed Hapoel of Tel Aviv at home in their Aleksandar Nikolić Sports Hall in Belgrade. Split suffered a defeat by Rio Breogan on the road in Lugo.

The reigning AdmiralBet ABA League champions continue their successful preseason campaign, as they have prevailed over Hapoel of Tel Aviv on Thursday night at home in their Aleksandar Nikolić Sports Hall.

Crvena zvezda Meridianbet have been on top of their opponents throughout the game, as they have been up by 9 points after the first quarter (26:17) and by 15 by halftime (50:35). In the second half, they managed to stick to their advantage, prevailing in the end with the final score of 82:74.

For the Belgrade squad, Codi Miller-McIntyre has been the most efficient player, as he scored 12 points. Luka Mitrović, Joel Bolomboy and Nikola Kalinić each had 11.

Split faced Rio Breogan on the road in Lugo and suffered a defeat by 9 points of margin in a game, where the hosts have made the crucial difference in the opening quarter (12:26). For Split, Shannon Shorter has been the top scorer with 14 points on his record, while David Škara had 13.
