Presenting 2024/25 AdmiralBet ABA League teams – FMP Soccerbet
The Panthers have kept most of the last-season players, while they added some very interesting names to their 2024/25 roster.
Last season, FMP Soccerbet remained just a win away from the 8th place on the standings. That was not a bad result, yet the two-time regional champions always aim for the best, so they used this summer to improve the team in order to enter the race for the Playoffs in the 2024/25 AdmiralBet ABA League campaign.
The Panthers will still be coached by Saša Nikitović who had pretty good resuls since taking over the team in January this year. Nikitović led the team far away from the relegation zone, while he needed just a little more to even make it to the Playoffs.
What is also very important to mention is that FMP Soccerbet have managed to keep most of the last-season players as Ognjen Kuzmić, Vojislav Stojanović, Matic Rebec, Jovan Novak, Nikola Šaranović, Demetre Roberts, Ranko Simović and Nikola Gašić will all be part of the 2024/25 roster.
On top of that, the club was very active on the transfer market this summer as they signed 7 new players.
One of the best power forwards in the league Danilo Tasić has returned to the club after two years, Bojan Tomašević has arrived after a great season in Borac Mozzart, while Filip Barna came from Spartak Office Shoes with the reputation of one of the best players of the last year’s NLB ABA League 2.
Another former Spartak Office Shoes player joined FMP Soccerbet this summer and that is Dušan Radosavljević, while the other newcomers are Eral Penn who came from Dynamic and Aleksa Stanojević who came from BC Joker.
Finally, perhaps the biggest FMP Soccerbet's transfer this summer was completed just a few days ago as the Panthers welcomed back last year’s AdmiralBet ABA League champion Stefan Lazarević.
Lazarević will therefore start his 3rd stint with the club as he previously played for the Panthers from 2014 to 2017 and then from 2019 to 2021.
FMP Soccerbet’s new roster looks quite strong at each position, while it is now up to them to prove that they can do much more than a year before.
