Presenting 2024/25 AdmiralBet ABA League Teams – Igokea m:tel
The Laktaši troops are looking for their 4th Playoffs appearance in the last 5 years.
Igokea m:tel is the club that has been recording constantly good results over the past few years. The boys from Laktaši have made it to the Admiralbet ABA League Playoffs in 3 of the last 4 years and they will now be looking to continue with good performances and finish the season among the top 8 teams on the standings.
They will start the 2024/25 journey with the new head coach at the bench. Nenad Stefanović, a former FMP Soccerbet head coach who recorded some exceptional results both with FMP Soccerbet and U18 Serbian National Team, has arrived in Laktaši to lead this new project of Igokea m:tel.
And he will have a pretty balanced mixture of experienced and young players to work with in his new team.
Igokea m:tel have kept some of the team leaders from the previous season, like Dragan Milosavljević, Marko Jeremić, Nikola Marić and Goran Filipović, while there are some super talented players in the team that might have a breakthrough season, like Ognjen Stanković, Ognjen Radošić and others.
The club acquired 7 new players over the summer and the biggest name that has arrived to Laktaši is most certainly former Borac Mozzart and FMP Soccerbet point guard Bryce Jones.
Jones had a fantastic cooperation with coach Stefanović while the two of them were in FMP Soccerbet as Jones was one of the best players in the league back in the 2021/22 season when he averaged 19.3 index rating per game.
Some other familiar faces have joined the team, including former Partizan Mozzart Bet players Strahinja Gavrilović and Vasilija Pušica, as well as former Bosna players Sandro Antunović and Vojin Ilić.
Sacar Anim and Terrell Carter have also strengthen the team over the summer and the two of them will make their debut in the regional league.
Igokea m:tel was the real sensation in the 1st part of the last season when they scored some historic wins, like the one against Partizan Mozzart Bet on the road. Can they repeat that performance is still something we will have to see, but be quite sure that the squad from Laktaši will be a tough opponent even to the most powerful regional teams.
