Borac Mozzart sign contract with Mike Smith
The club from Čačak added another point guard to their 2024/25 roster just a few days before the start of the new season.

Borac Mozzart have made another signing this summer as they penned contract with American point guard Mike Smith.
Smith spent his college career at the Columbia University and at the University of Michigan, respectively, while after going undrafted in the 2021 NBA Draft, he joined the NBA G League side Sioux Falls Skyforce.
After a year spent in the NBA G League, Smith moved to New Zealand where he played one year for the Wellington Saints. After that, he started his European campaign as he spent the previous 2 seasons playing for the European clubs.
Smith played the 2022/23 season for Astoria Bydgoszcz in Poland, while in the 2023/24 season he played for German side Rostock Seawolves and for Turkish team TED Kolejliler.
He averaged 17 points and 4.2 assists per game while playing for TED Kolejliler.
Mike Smith is the 9th new player to join Borac Mozzart this summer after Marko Pavićević (FMP Soccerbet), Justas Furmanavičius (Jonava CBet), Paulius Valinskas (Lietkabelis Panevežys), Đorđe M. Ćurčić, Marko Jošilo (Igokea m:tel), Keishawn Davidson (Belmont University), Đorđe Gagić (Lietkabelis Panevežys) and Diante Baldwin (Lietkabelis Panevežys).

Majk Smit (26, 179) novi je košarkaš Borca Mozzart!
Najnovija akvizicija kluba iz grada na Moravi igra na poziciji plejmejkera, a u dosadašnjoj karijeri je nastupao za klubove u Poljskoj, Novom Zelandu, Nemačkoj i Turskoj.
Njegovim dolaskom roster prvog tima Čačana postao je bogatiji za još jednog kvalitetnog igrača, koji će, nema mesta sumnji, puno pomoći u predstojećoj sezoni u AdmiralBet ABA ligi.
Pored njega, ekipa Saše Ocokoljića na poziciji organizatora igre ima još dvojicu košarkaša iz Amerike, Diante Boldvina i Kišona Dejvidsona. Takođe, kao plejmejker igra i mladi Petar Radović.
Da podsetimo, do ovog momenta devetorica igrača pojačala su crveno-beli tim. Reč je o Diante Boldvinu, Đorđu Ćurčiću, Kišonu Dejvidsonu, Justasu Furmanavičiusu, Đorđu Gagiću, Marku Jošilu, Marku Pavićeviću i Pauliusu Valinskasu.
Prvi meč u sezoni 2024/2025. Borac Mozzart će igrati u Beogradu protiv Partizana Mozzart Bet. Taj meč je planiran za sredu 25. septembar, a početak je zakazan za 19:00.
