Game recap: Mega MIS has gotten off to the right start in the new season as a new-look Marko Barać squad beat Krka in Novo Mesto. Krka got off to a good start in the first quarter, pulling away to a 6-point advantage midway through the quarter but Mega MIS would cut that lead down to 3 by the start of the second. Marko Barać's squad took control of the game in the second quarter, they outscored the hosts 14:23 in the quarter to take a 6-point advantage into the halftime break. Krka didn't let Mega MIS run away with the game, they managed to put up a fight, throughout the first three quarters they didn't allow the visitors to get a lead larger than 8. In the final quarter Krka didn't have enough left in the tank to try and mount a comeback, Mega MIS grew their advantage and headed home with a win in game 1. 

Key moments: Midway through the final quarter, after Krka was trailing by just 6, Mega MIS went on a crucial 13:5 run to finally get a double-digit lead, bringing it as high as 14. There was no return for Krka following this run with just 2:30 minutes remaining in the game. 

Man of the match: 21-year-old Mihailo Petrović had a terrific debut for Mega MIS with 19 points while dishing out 5 assists. 

Can't trick the stats: Points in the paint were a big difference tonight. Mega MIS continues their dominance in the paint, 50 of their 30 points were scored in the paint. Andrija Jelavić and Filip Jović were a problem for Krka tonight down low, they combined for 26 points scored in the paint.
