2024/25 AdmiralBet ABA League Round 2, Saturday, 28 September 2024:

BUDUĆNOST VOLI – SPLIT

Where? Morača Sports Hall, Podgorica

When? 20:00

Story of the game: On Saturday night, Budućnost VOLI will be hosting Split at home in their Morača Sports Hall in Podgorica.

The blue and white squad will, after they have rolled over Mornar-Barsko zlato in Round 1, try their best in order to repeat the task in Round 2 and prevail over Split as well. This would present a truly successful start of the season with a 2:0 record after 2 rounds played.

On the other side, Split could not be satisfied with their Round 1 score, as they failed to protect their home court in the game against Igokea m:tel and they will need to do everything in their power in order to bounce back on the road in Morača in order to move from the bottom half of the standings towards the middle.

However, it will be a tough feat for Split, which have only won once against Budućnost VOLI on the road in Morača in the entire history of the regional competition in 11 mutual encounters played so far.

Will Budućnost show their supremacy once more or will Split manage to come up with a proper reply to the Round 1 disappointment? Tune in on Saturday night and find out!

Match-up in focus: Perhaps the most interesting battle on the court this time can be the one between two floor generals, as Rasheed Sulaimon faces Borna Kapusta. Each of them has led his respective squad in Round 1 in passing with 7 assists on their records. Who will top the other one this time?

Head-to-head score in the regional league: In total 15:7; In Podgorica 10:1.
