Cibona sign contract with Talib Zanna

Cibona have strengthen their frontcourt by penning deal with 33-year-old Nigerian center Talib Zanna.

Zanna went to the University of Pittsburgh, while after going undrafted in the 2014 NBA Draft, he spent the following two seasons playing for the Oklahoma City Blue, the affiliate team of the Oklahoma City Thunder.

After that, Zanna moved to Europe as he signed contract with Nanterre 92 with whom he won the 2017 French Cup and the 2017 FIBA Europe Cup.

Zanna then continued his European journey as he later on played for Ironi Nes Ziona, Fuenlabrada, Afyon Belediye and Hapoel Tel Aviv, before moving back to the USA to play for the NBA G League teams Long Island Nets, Agua Caliente Clippers, Maine Celtics and once again for the Oklahoma City Blue.

Finally, he has once again returned to Europe last season as he spent the 2023/24 campaign playing for the Bulgarian team Spartak Plevne.
