Game recap: Cibona have seized their first win in the 2024/25 AdmiralBet ABA League season as they defeated SC Derby at home court.

The Wolves had a slow start as they scored just 12 points in the first quarter, but after that they improved their offense significantly and that offense brought them the win today. Cibona scored 50 points combined in the 2^nd and in the 3^rd quarters to take over the lead, which they then successfully kept in the rest of the match.

Cibona and SC Derby are therefore now all tied on the 2024/25 Admiralbet ABA League standings as both teams have a 1-1 score after the opening two rounds.

Key moments: Cibona struggled to score points in the opening 10 minutes, but with the start of the 2^nd quarter they picked up the right rhythm offensively and they started scoring points in almost every ball-possession. The Wolves scored 28 points in the 2^nd quarter, while they went on with great offensive performance in the 3^rd quarter in which they dropped 22 points to gain a nice lead ahead of the final 10 minutes – 62:53.

SC Derby managed to reduce the gap to 5 points two times in the 4^th quarter, but every time Cibona answered back immediately by scoring easy buckets and increasing the gap again.
